Kuch Khaas Keto Food Challenge – Episode 2 – Farrukh’s Keto Burger with Zucchini Fries and Mint Lemonade

Who doesn’t like a burger? Don’t answer, it’s rhetorical. The point is everybody craves a burger once in a while. If you are on a diet, that once in a while is kind of ALL-THE-TIME. Farrukh brings you the keto burger, it’ll take down that craving and make you smile, in that satisfied kind of way.

Let’s start with the Burger:


1 pound ground veal
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Onion Powder
Lettuce (2 leaves/ burger)
Sliced Tomato
1 tbsp Barbecue sauce
Ketchup to taste
Mustard to taste
Mayo to taste [You have now discovered the secret sauce]

Preheat large cast iron pan over medium heat.
In a medium-size mixing bowl combine your ground veal, barbecue sauce, salt, and pepper together and stir until well combined. Add cheddar cheese and mix.
Shape the mixture into hamburger patties ( As many as you want or what fits your macros)
Place your hamburger patties onto your heated cast iron pan and cook to your desired level of “Done”-ness.
Remove the hamburgers from the pan onto a plate and allow them to rest for three minutes.
Place the hamburgers on to the center of each lettuce leaf. Top the burgers with the ketchup, mustard and mayo mix. Place the tomato slice, wrap up the lettuce around the burger and enjoy the party in your mouth.

Now for the Zucchini Fries:


2 lbs zucchini
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
½ tsp ground black pepper
2 eggs
3 tbsp olive oil


Crack the eggs into a shallow bowl and whisk until smooth.
Mix parmesan cheese and spices in another bowl.
Cut the zucchini into sticks. Remove the seeds (or leave them—your choice).
Dredge the zucchini sticks in the cheese and spices mixture until they are completely covered. Dip them in the egg batter and then again in the cheese and spices mixture.
Heat up olive oil in a wok and fry up the Zucchini Sticks.

Voila – Fries that’ll cross your eyes!

DIET Mint Lemonade

In a large pitcher half-filled with ice, add Diet 7up (Lazy can be good), lemon juice [For that extra kick], mint, and lemon slices. Stir to combine. Serve over ice.
